A sketch done at a convention for a fan of Dejah Thoris from the science fiction novel John Carter: A Princenss of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Added a quick background a little bit of color to jazz it up a bit. Done is copic markers, ink, white acrylic and white prismacolor.
As a kid who grew up on my uncle's Frazetta-illustrated ERB books, I really appreciate artists who can do such great tributes to his fantastic jewelry and armor--all those sweeping Art Nouveau arcs and multiple wires/strands and all. So I continue to love this and your similar work like a loving thing that loves. With love.
