This was the first of the series I did featuring megatron and his prize warrior Devastator. One of my personal favorites. Pencils by me, inks by Clayton Brown and colors by the amazing Twincruiser brothers. Hope you dig it!

so all awesomeness set aside (this is AWESOME lol) how do you go about drawing transformers? ive tried painting them a few times but it seems like my dimensions are always off, just practice makes perfect? or is there some kinda trick i dont know about lol. also amazing work from the twincruiser brothers, do they just use digital media to color everything and give the halo effects? and if so what is being done by clayton brown with the inks? I always assumed comics were colored with ink(although i have no idea how it could ever produce the look i see in comics.
hope you have time to respond at some point because im rather interested in upping my painting/ airbrushing abilities, sick transformers pics like this being my holy grail lol.

Mark, this is one of my favourite pieces of Transformers art ever (so much so I had a go at doing a version myself from the same perspective using Menasor instead). I've got to ask though, Is there a special technique you use for making the perspective of the buildings look a bit curved? I find it hard enough trying to get the perspective looking accurate just using straight lines!
