This is a piece of artwork done for Topps trading cards as a printed card for their Lord of the Rings Masterpiece set. Had a very little time to color it (only about 8 hours) so I'm much happier with the linework than the colors but I guess not everything can be gold right?

Drawn in ink on 13X19 bristol board and colored in photoshop.

inter5esting how you color over your ink shading too. =o but it looks great as a result!! usually people just ink lines to hold color so the liens just look empty with HUGE negative spaces, but i love the direction you take on this. so it looks completed inked, AND colored.

Stunningly beautiful! Excellent work and a masterful illustration!

I think the colors are well done; the line work is spot on, and the entire image is well composed.
