Just a sketchbook doodle I decided to ink and color. Jamie hewlett has always been one of my favorite artists so I wanted to do a pic of myself in his famous style. Inked with pigma pens and colored in photoshop.

For anyone not familiar with Jamie Hewlett, he's the creator of the British comic strip Tank Girl. he's also responsible for all those kick-ass cortoons you see in all the Gorillaz music videos and CD covers. You can see a lot of his work by visiting [link] or doing a google search under his name.
If you're a fan of Jaime Hewlett or the Gorillaz, try doing a portrait of yourself in this style. It's fun and you might like the results=)

Haha, awesome characterization man. I say it's really in the eyes that seal the deal for me but the posture and design on the fingers really helps set it. Love them Gorillaz!
