Plaster Paris: The Cragsby `diablo2003

The last of the art done for the Paris Comic-con I will be attending this Summer. This is the background that will be used on posters, the website or where ever they see fit to put them. While drawing this and the other guys I came up with a story line involving Paris 200 years into the future. Might flesh this out more in the future and see how it pans out. Very nice. Very much like the concepts in some of the Roger Dean "Yes" Album covers (another fave artist of mine).

I first encountered the "floating island" concept in Sonic the Hedgehog WAY back in the day. I've loved the idea since. It sucks that Avatar has done this to the concept. I have floating rocks in the "Mana Region" in my personal project. that's going to be bombarded with needless "you got that from avatar" nonsense.
