Artist's Comments

Piece done for the program cover of the DallasComicon next week ( [link] ). Carrie Fisher is making an appearance to sign autographs so the con organizers asked me to do a piece of Carrie as Slave leia for their cover. I know, it doesn't looks like Carrie but to be honest I had to turn this out so quickly and likenesses take me a lot longer so I opted to just concentrate on the sexiness instead of a dead on likeness.
Also, just as a preemptive strike. I really appreciate all the comments you guys leave me and I read everyone of them but, unfortunately, I don't have the free time to be able to comment on all of them so please know that they're read and EXTREMELY appreciated. I would love to express my thanks for each and every one but trying to balance a 12 hour work day(including weekends) and a wife takes up pretty much all my free time. All your comments give me the fuel to keep working.

Fabulous! And I wouldn't worry too much about getting a dead-on likeness. Have you SEEN some of the old comic art? It doesn't look even remotely like Carrie nor is it anywhere near as sexy as this. Great job! And I have to say I love it that you put Salacious Crumb in there. You should see if you could make some prints to sell at the con, 'cause I bet a bunch of people would buy them.

i love the lighting coming from above and through the cracks. You placed the lighting perfectly on leia and others. Great job!
