Rogue tutorial and video by diablo2003 Rogue tutorial and video by diablo2003
This is a commission done recently for a fan. I videoed myself during the ink and marker rendering stage and made a speed video so you can see the piece from start to finish as well as a video tutorial slowed down that gives a tutorial on rendering her face in marker. If nothing else, I hope you at least find it entertaining.

Hope you dig!

That is amazing! I bought some Copic markers after watching your video, thinking it would be easy. Was I wrong! It takes a lot of work and talent to do this so good job.

Mind Blowing, literally, my mind is blown... Which makes me wonder how can I still type... While watching the videos I was just talking out loud "no way no way "... I mean did you seriously do that background directly with copics with no underlines at all and just your rough sketch as a guide? And that blending jeez, you must be using some special cheated copics we don't have access to XD

Anyways, wow, how long does it typically take? It looks like you did it in one sitting : O

HAHA! Thanks so much! Yeah, the background is all copics with no ink work. It's all about working fast when the copics are still wet so they blend really easily. Just time and practice my friend=-)

Gorgeous work, and the tutorial was excellent... I swear I spent half the video going 'gah, why did you do that, that ruined it!' followed by... 'ooo now it looks great!' (This is why I am not an artist)

I'm never sure which marvel female I like your rendition of most, but Rogue is definitely always up there. :)
