Wolverine Coverby `diablo2003

This is a cover for an upcoming Marvel project that is going to be announced at New York Comic Con this weekend with writer Brian Wood. The apocalyptic outfit Wolverine is wearing was inspired by the custom action figure I did [link] which was, in turn, inspired by the 3D work of BHead.
It was penciled and inked traditionally on 13X19 Bristol board and digitally painted in photoshop on a Cintiq 21UX

This is pretty damn cool! I'm interested to see what this is going to be. He looks hardcore survivalist with all that gear. Kinda reminds me of something like Book of Eli.
