Young Avenger 2 coverby `diablo2003

This is the cover to Young Avengers #2 coming out in June from Marvel Comics. Had a lot of fun with this one because I got to do some action instead of a static shot. Also got to try out using a manipulated photo for the background instead of a line drawing. I don't think this technique should be used very often but can be very effective when used correctly.

Pencil and inks by me with colors by Christina Strain.

As with the book I love the pencils. I love the inks. I'm not so keen on the colours. Their odd contrast levels distract a little from the lines. A bit of a shame, but I love the actual base of the image.
