Wasted- The Scavenger by `diablo2003
This amazingly cool mixed media sculpture was suggested by several deviants and I gotta' say that they are spot on with this one!!! Here follows a quick summary of the suggesters' thoughts: "...so much detail!" "As a fan of the Post-Apoc art/games/movies...this piece hit a home run with me." "This piece obviously shows great attention to detail and a careful hand. The rusted colours support the "post-apocalyptic" theme..." "I know it has a lot of favs but I just cant resist it because every little detail in this work is gorgeous."

Description
And now for something completely different. Post-apocalyptic fantasy has always been one of my favorite subjects in science fiction so I thought this would be fun to do.
This is a 1/6 scale figure and diorama I made from various parts. I used 1/6 scale clothing, toy parts, watch parts, pieces from a smashed digital camera, Jewelry beads, hand sewn pieces, and various odds and ends. All hand painted and weathered with crushed pastels. Base was made using balsa wood, cut metal, and more odds and ends. Hand painted and weathered. Figure stands 12" tall and base stands around 24" tall. The figure has 32 points of articulation and is fully poseable as well.
